CORONAVIRUS COMMUNICATIONS AND UPDATES
Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School is carefully monitoring the current and most relevant information related to the spread of the coronavirus in the US and Las Vegas. Our first priority is always the health and safety of our Faith Family. As new information about the coronavirus is made available, we will do our best to keep all students, families, faculty and staff informed of the school's plan.
Refer to this page for the latest updates as well as helpful resources such as the Upcoming Events and Trips Status Updated 4/1/2020.
Happy Tuesday, Faith Family.
I decided to have a little fun this week and have created a video for you. This week's update can be found by clicking here.
A few other items:
As you know, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak closed all Nevada schools starting March 16; we have been expecting to return on Thursday, April 16, 2020. However, given President Trump's remarks on Sunday, March 29 where he extended the nation's social distancing guidelines until April 30, we expect that our return will be pushed until at least May 1. We will communicate any update to our return date to you as soon as we are able to confirm.
The school office will be closed April 6-13. Just a reminder that you can find a list of email addresses for all of our employees by clicking here.
If you call the school's main number (702.804.4400) and press 5 for the school's directory, you may find the person you are looking for and leave a voice mail. Voice mails are transferred to audio files and emailed to that employee.
God's richest blessings,
Steven J. Buuck, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer.
